Stimulating Honey Scrub
After exposure to strong, stiff winds, the skin can become irritated and flaky. A scrub helps remove excess skin and restore your natural glow.
Ingredients:
1 1/3 ounces white soap, shaved into thin strips
1 ounce white wax
3 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon honey
2 teaspoons benzoin essential oil
2 teaspoons witch hazel
Directions:
In the top of a double boiler set over simmering water, melt the soap, white wax, and honey, and mix thoroughly. Then add the essential oil and witch hazel. Pour the mixture into a bottle, cork tightly, and put aside for future use.
To use: Gently rub into affected area instead of soap before retiring. Rise with warm water, dry face thoroughly and apply a cold cream or a cucumber cream.
