Good Morning! I've been reviewing Paula Deen's new cookbook entitled "Southern Bible Cookbook" and let me tell you, it is fabulous! If you get a chance to purchase one, I highly recommend it.
This is one simple and easy Tortellini. Since I purchase my Tortellini from the refrigerited section of my grocery store, that makes the recipe so easy except in the taste department. People that eat this will think you spent hours in the kitchen preparing it. When actually, less than 30 minutes!
Hope you enjoy!
Deb
Ingredients:
1 9 oz package refrigerated cheese filled tortellini
1 1/2 cups frozen broccoli florets
1 1/2 cups cubed cooked ham
2/3 cup creamy caesar salad dressing
3 cups shredded romaine lettuce
2 tablespoons shredded fresh parmesan cheese
Instructions:
Bring 2 quarts water to a boil in large saucepan. Add tortellini and broccoli; cook to desired doneness as directed on tortellini package. Drain; return to saucepan.
Add ham and salad dressing; stir gently to mix. Cook over medium low heat just until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally. Arrange lettuce on individual plates. Spoon tortellini mixture over lettuce. Sprinkle with cheese.
